Shipping policy

Where I ship

US only at this time (50 states + DC). International orders will be
cancelled and refunded — see below for why.

When I ship

Orders ship within 1–2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or
holidays ship the next business day after.

Every unit gets a final functional test before it goes in the box —
powered on, cart/chip exercised on real hardware. If a unit fails
that test, the order may ship a day later than usual, and I'll
email you so you know what's going on.

How I ship

USPS for everything — Ground Advantage or Priority Mail depending
on weight and value. Tracking is emailed automatically when the
label prints.

Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on weight and
destination.

Transit times

Carrier estimates only — once a package leaves my hands, transit is
out of my control. Typical US transit is 2–5 business days. I'm not
liable for carrier delays.

Lost or damaged in transit

If your tracking shows delivered but you didn't receive the package,
or it arrives visibly damaged, email support@chicagolandretrotech.com
within 7 days with your order number and a description (photos of
damage help). I'll work with you and the carrier to resolve it —
typically a replacement if I have stock, or a refund.

Address accuracy

You're responsible for the shipping address you provide. If a
package is returned to me as undeliverable, I'll contact you for
a corrected address — reshipment is at your cost.

International

US-only for now. The driver is current US tariff and customs
volatility, not lack of demand. I plan to revisit international
shipping (UK, Germany, Japan, Australia, and beyond) once that
picture stabilizes — likely 2027–2028.
